THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT Touring Lineup Expands
September 24, 2004Dutch brutal death metal band THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT have announced the addition of touring member Carsten Altena to the group's ranks. "Carsten took already care of the synthesizers, samples and orchestras on 'The Apotheosis' and the upcoming album 'The White Crematorium', which will be released [at] the end of January 2005 [via Holland's Karmageddon Media]," the band write on their web site. "We think it is better to use a live musician instead of a sampling machine. With this expansion THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT will bring an even more modern and brutal live sound. Carsten is also guitarplayer in the Dutch terror thrashband IZEGRIM and choir-master of the ROYAL MAKHACHKALA STRING ORCHESTRA from Dagestan."
THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT's debut album, "The Apotheosis", was released in 2002 through Cold Blood Industries. The group have previously toured Europe with the likes of THE CROWN and SKINLESS.
